Our direct field workforce is comprised of Retail Sales Associates, Retail Execution Specialists and Retail Reset Specialists, with full and part-time positions available. CLA has a wide variety and flexibility within all of our field positions. For a candidate looking for part-time, intermittent or even seasonal hours, CLA maybe the place for you. For many positions, you can schedule to work a few hours a day or even a few hours a week. If you only want to work a few days a month – CLA might have a position for you!
What does a Retail Sales Associate (RSA) do?
A critical key role at CLA is our Retail Sales Associates who provide service in retail stores for CLA’s vendor’s products. The RSA carries out specific objectives in assigned stores. RSAs travel to multiple stores to carry out monthly objectives. The RSA assists customers in retail stores by suggesting CLA products and attend grand openings, new store setups and special events. They ensure manufacturer’s products are presented in the best way possible to maximize visibility and increase overall sales.
The RSAs strive to build mutually beneficial relationships with store and field management, working to maintain quality communications with them and developing their respect and trust – they are a conduit of information between our manufacturers and clients. Part of their duties is to educate store management and personnel about CLA manufacturers, products, issues and promotions. The RSAs track results, achievements, competitors, customer satisfaction and complaints, as well as provide feedback in a timely and confidential manner to each manufacturer.
What does a Retail Execution Specialist (RES) do?
The primary purpose of the RES position is to promote sales of products through in-store product demonstration and professional event marketing. This position requires someone who is outgoing, energetic, sociable, friendly and gregarious. The RES sets up displays for our manufacturers and uses their samples, literature and coupons to promote the manufacturers products at retail stores, trade shows, events, dog parks, community events and other venues.
What does Retail Reset Specialist (RRS) do?
The RRS position is a seasonal position and requires someone who is willing to work on a temporary basis for up to a three months period on special reset projects for our clients. The RRS works in teams that consist of 3 – 8 individuals to accomplish the specific assignment. The tasks and hours vary by project, store locations and project requirements. The successful RRS associate has potential for other permanent opportunities within CLA.
