Chuck Latham Associates Welcomes Glen Templin as Vice President, Business Development, Veterinary Sales
August 30, 2012 – In an effort to develop and lead the growth of new and existing veterinary market sales opportunities, Chuck Latham Associates (CLA) is pleased to announce the addition of Glen Templin as Vice President, Business Development, Veterinary Sales to head up the Veterinary Division.
Mr. Templin joins CLA from Colorado-based APEX Consultants, LLC, a company he owned which served small to mid-sized U.S. and European animal health companies with new product distribution and sales strategy. Previously, he was Director of Companion Animal Distribution at Novartis Animal Health dedicated to the development of a national distribution strategy for its companion animal and Ethicon surgery suite line of products. In addition, Mr. Templin brings over 25 years of professional sales, business development, and channel partner strategy within the animal health industry with companies such as Pfizer, Schering-Plough and Ft. Dodge. Templin is also an avid supporter of the American Veterinary Distributor Association (AVDA) and will continue to foster this relationship.

Mr. Templin received his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and Certification in Industrial Distribution (CID) from Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Michael Johnson, CLA’s Vice President of Marketing & Information, has been chosen to speak at SuperZoo University at SuperZoo in Las Vegas September 2012. CLA has made great strides in understanding consumer behavior, and Mr. Johnson will be discussing how to leverage consumer research to identify opportunities and grow sales.
